At Potter’s House Preschool, a ministry of Fredericksburg Baptist Church, we believe that every child, parent, and staff member is created in the image of God and is worthy of love, dignity, and respect. We are more than a school- we are a community committed to shaping hearts and minds through excellence in early childhood education, hospitality and Christlike care.
Children follow STREAMin3 Curriculum, an evidence-based curriculum recognized by the Virginia Department of Education. Children enrolled in our 3 year old & Pre-K classes also receive handwriting instruction in accordance to Handwriting Without Tears curriculum.
Our Programs

Our full-time infant program caters to little ones aged 8 weeks to 12 months, offering a safe and caring space for their early development.
Class is held Monday through Friday from 8:45 am to 5:00 pm.

For active explorers aged 12 to 30 months. Our toddler program is divided into two groups based on age at time of enrollment.
Classes are held Monday through Friday from 8:45 am to 5:00 pm.

We offer several options for 2.5-year-olds to explore and learn together.
Part-Time classes are held from 8:45am to 12:00pm. Options include:

Full-Time class is held Monday through Friday from 8:45 am to 5:00pm.

We offer several options for 4-year-olds to explore and learn together.
There are two options for Part-Time 4’s. Class is held Monday through Friday from 8:45 am to 12:00 pm OR 8:45 am to 2:00 pm.
Full-Time class is held Monday through Friday from 8:45 am to 5:00 pm.

Busy parents will appreciate our early morning drop-off option, allowing children to be cared for from 7:30 am before classes begin at 8:45 am.
There is an additional fee associated with this flexible option.

Additional Program Information
The Potter’s House is religiously exempt from licensure in accordance to Code of Virginia 22.1-289.031.
All children follow STREAMin3 curriculum. 3 yr old and Pre-K classes also follow Handwriting Without Tears curriculum. Children will explore themes like home, family, community, animals, and more while developing their independence and social skills. A special connection with God will be made through weekly chapel experiences and faith-based learning integrations.
We prioritize safety and quality education. Our teachers are CPR/First Aid certified and full-day teachers also hold MAT certification.
