Adult Midweek study

Advent is a season of endings and beginnings—a sacred time when we reflect on Christ’s birth as the moment that ushers in new ways of living and loving. As the calendar year comes to a close, we gather to welcome the start of a new church year, stepping into the beautiful hope and challenge of Advent.

This December, we invite you to our Adult Midweek Study as we reflect together on the theme “Words for the Beginning.” Just as Mary proclaimed hope amidst the endings in her life, we’ll explore the words and reminders that offer steady ground for our faith journeys today.

Through engaging discussions and shared reflections, we’ll unpack life-giving reminders like:

You are a blessing, Hope is worth the risk, Do the good that is yours to do, The road isn’t straight

These reminders call us back to the fundamental truths of our faith, offering guidance for navigating life’s endings and beginnings with courage and grace.

Each week, we’ll gather for study, reflection, and fellowship. Soup will be provided at $5, or you’re welcome to bring your own lunch. Together, let’s explore the sacred new chapter Advent invites us into.

We can’t wait to journey through Advent with you!
