  • Rev. David Haun

    Senior Pastor

    David was called to serve as Senior Pastor in November 2023.

    David born in Louisville, KY, has been a member of Fredericksburg Baptist since he was a child. He is a graduate of East Carolina University and served as an athletic trainer for the Spotsylvania County school system prior to beginning his ministry at FBC. David also earned his Master of Arts in Christian Practices from Duke Divinity. Currently, David is pursuing his EdD at Baylor University in Learning and Organizational Change.

    David currently serves as the Moderator of the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship of Virginia. He is also the president of the Rappahannock Adult Activities Board.

    David and his wife, Lindsey, reside in Fredericksburg with their children, Owen, Ethan and Claire.

  • Rev. Dr. Jeanne Anderson

    Associate Pastor for Worship and Missions

    Dr. Jeanne Anderson, Associate Pastor for Worship & Missions, provides comprehensive leadership and oversight to all worship services and the mission ministries of the church, fostering an environment that supports spiritual growth, multicultural inclusion, and community engagement across all age groups.

    Jeanne is a native of southwestern Virginia. She has lived in the Fredericksburg area since 1985 and has been a member of Fredericksburg Baptist Church since 1987. She is a 1982 graduate of Radford University with a B.S. degree in Education. She received a Master of Arts degree from Mary Washington College in 1999. In 2018, Jeanne completed a Doctorate in Worship Studies at the Robert E. Webber Institute for Worship Studies.

  • Rev. Erin Silver

    Associate Pastor for Congregational Care

    Erin, Associate Pastor for Congregational Care, focuses on addressing the pastoral care needs within the congregation. The Associate Pastor for Congregational Care will work closely with the Pastor and church ministers to foster a spiritual and community support system. This role involves the oversight of Adult, Youth, and Children’s Ministries and the collaborative development of discipleship initiatives.

    Erin was born and raised in Gastonia, North Carolina. She received a degree in Child Life from East Carolina University. Erin graduated from Duke Divinity School with a Master's in Christian Practice in 2014.

    Prior to her ministry with this church, Erin’s career included working as a Child Life Specialist at Pitt County Memorial Hospital as well as working for the Rappahannock Area Community Services Board.

    Erin and her husband, Michael, reside in Fredericksburg with their sons, Davis and Isaac.

  • Dr. Chris Ryder

    Associate Pastor for Music

    Dr. Christopher O. Ryder, Associate Pastor for Music, develops and leads the Music Ministry and participates in Worship preparation for FXBG Baptist Church. Providing a theologically sound, dynamic, and spiritually enriching music ministry and worship services.

    Chris is also on the faculty of the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, Virginia, and serves as Artistic Director for the Maranatha Music Ministries of Fredericksburg. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Mary Washington College, where he completed majors in voice and viola. He also holds a Master of Arts in Choral Conducting from George Mason University and a Doctor of Musical Arts in Music Education at the Shenandoah Conservatory.

  • Rev. Beth Bailey

    Minister with Youth and Young Adults

    Beth R. Bailey , Minister with Youth and Young Adults, plans, implements, and leads spiritual growth and direction for youth and young adults at FXBG Baptist Church.

    Beth is a proud "Double Hoo" having graduated from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor's in Religious Studies and a Master's in Teaching in December of 2020. She completed her Master of Divinity degree at Union Presbyterian Seminary in Richmond in May of 2024. Beth is passionate about working with youth and young adults, navigating religious trauma with those the church has hurt, and creating open and brave spaces for young people to boldly live into who God is calling them to be.

    Beth is married to her husband, Colin, who is in his last year of working toward a PhD in Chemical Engineering at VCU. They both enjoy spending time with their dog, Ginny.

  • Stephanie Lunney

    Minister with Children and Families

    Stephanie serves as the Minister with Children and Families at Fredericksburg Baptist Church, where she is dedicated to guiding young minds in understanding and embracing God’s boundless love. With a background in social work and a commitment to community service, Stephanie brings a compassionate and skilled approach to her ministry, empowering children and families in their spiritual journey.

    Stephanie holds a Master’s in Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Bachelor of Arts in Religion and Classical Civilization from Mary Washington College. Her early call to ministry has shaped her career, leading her to work with children and families in the foster care system before she took time to focus on raising her family.

    Stephanie and her four children—Connor, Finn, Chloe, and Wade—reside in Fredericksburg, enjoying family board game nights, movie marathons, and trips for ice cream.

  • Dennis Sacrey

    Church Administrator

    Dennis is the manager and coordinator of the church's business needs, including the physical plant, office and custodial personnel. He serves as the church treasurer responsible for all of the church’s financial operations. He also provides business support to the Potter’s House Preschool. In addition to his business responsibilities, he also serves as the Church Historian.

    Dennis is a native of Fredericksburg and a life-long member of Fredericksburg Baptist Church. A 1979 graduate of Mary Washington College, he received a BA in History. Prior to coming to the church, his career experience included retail management and sales.

    Dennis and his wife, Kristina, reside in Stafford County. His interests include flower gardening, genealogy, and local historical research.

  • Tricia Hoagland

    Director Potter’s House Preschool

    Tricia brings with her more than eighteen years of experience as an educator, twelve devoted to school leadership. Her background lies in special education, but her attention and interest are now aimed at early childhood.

    Tricia is a servant leader who takes immense pride in working collaboratively with others. She looks forward to establishing a positive partnership with parents, teachers, and the church so all concerns, suggestions, questions, and ideas are heard and valued.

    Tricia and her husband, Michael, have a beautiful daughter, a rambunctious French Bulldog, and a spoiled cat! She loves to travel and experience new things, binge-watch documentaries, and hunt for treasures at thrift shops.

  • Tammy Snellings

    Office Assistant

    Tammy Snellings has served as the Office Assistant at Fredericksburg Baptist Church since 2005. Her role involves important administrative support to the church's Pastoral, Ministerial, and Professional Staff, contributing significantly to its operations. Tammy is passionate about caring for and serving all people.

    She lives in Spotsylvania County with her husband, Van, and enjoys life with their two adult sons, Ryan and Logan.
